Dr. Noam Chomsky Lecture

The Muslim Law Students' Association and the ASU Students for Justice in Palestine present Dr. Noam Chomsky. He has lectured at many universities here and abroad, and is the recipient of numerous honorary degrees and awards. He has written and lectured widely on linguistics, philosophy, intellectual history, contemporary issues,international affairs and U.S. foreign policy. Among his recent books are, New Horizons in the Study of Language and Mind, On Nature and Language, Hopes and Prospects, Gaza in Crisis, How the World Works, and 9-11: Was There an Alternative?
Dr. Chomsky will discuss the history of the Palestine-Israel conflict as well as his views of the roots of this conflict. Dr. Chomsky may also touch upon discrimination and unequal rights in modern day Israel-Palestine, as well as the role the media plays in perpetuating the conflict.
